Freelancers Web Academy is a project-based technology training centre based in Tétouan, Morocco. We operate this website to present our trainings, manage schedules, and handle student registration and payment.

02 Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run our trainings and respond to you.

You give us directly

• Identity & contact: first name, last name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, city.
• Profile context: profession or current level, when you provide it.
• Registration data: the schedule you register for and your payment reference (format FWA-XXXX).
• Payment verification: the receipt file you upload to confirm a bank transfer or CashPlus payment.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, email, or WhatsApp.

Collected automatically

• Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via server logs and cookies, used to keep the site secure and working.

03 How we use your information

• To process your registration and create your student account.
• To verify your payment and confirm your seat.
• To send you enrollment confirmations, schedule details, and reminders about your training.
• To reply to your enquiries.
• To issue your certificate on completion.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

04 Legal basis for processing

We process your data because it is necessary to deliver a training you asked for (performance of a contract), because you have consented (for example, contact messages or optional communications), or because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our service. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

05 Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function (for example, to keep you logged in and to keep forms secure). You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

06 Sharing & third parties

We share data only with service providers that help us operate, and only as much as they need:

• Hosting — our website and its data are hosted on Hostinger infrastructure.
• Email — transactional emails (confirmations, reminders) are delivered through our mail service.
• Maps — our contact page may load an embedded map from a third-party map provider.
• WhatsApp — if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp’s own policies.

We may also disclose information where required by Moroccan law.

07 Data storage & security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including secure hosting, restricted access, and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it.

08 How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as you have an account with us and as long as needed to deliver our services, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

09 Your rights

Under Moroccan data-protection law (Law No. 09-08, overseen by the CNDP), you may request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

10 Minors

Registration is intended for adults and for minors enrolled with the consent of a parent or guardian.

11 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
